The UNLV men’s golf team was selected on May 6 as the No. 8 seed for the NCAA Bryan Regional, which will be hosted by Texas A&M at Traditions Club from May 18 to May 20.

This selection marks the Rebels’ 34th appearance in the NCAA postseason. The team will compete against thirteen other schools, including top-seeded Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, New Mexico, and host Texas A&M. Four of these teams are ranked in the Scoreboard Powered by Clippd top-25 rankings: Texas at fourth, North Carolina ninth, Tennessee sixteenth, and New Mexico twenty-first.

“I’m really proud of our team – all nine of our guys. They’re doing great things on and off the golf course,” said UNLV head coach Jean-Paul Hebert. “We have the chance to go to the NCAA Regionals at Texas A&M, which isn’t too far from where we’ve played tournaments these past couple of years. That’s why we play tournaments in different parts of the country, so that we can be prepared for this moment right here. The postseason is what we play for all year, so our guys are as ready as you can be, excited and motivated to go play.”

The top five teams and top individual finisher at this regional will advance to the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California from May 29 through June 3. The Bryan Regional is one of six sites hosting regional competition this season; others include venues in Georgia (University of Georgia Golf Course), North Carolina (Bermuda Run Country Club), Ohio (Ohio State Golf Club), Oregon (Trysting Tree Golf Club), and Arizona (The Gallery Golf Club).

During their regular season campaign for 2025-26, UNLV recorded six top-five finishes including wins at both the Mountain West Championship and NB3 Matchplay at Twin Warriors event.
