City of Reno recently issued the following announcement.
RFD ceremony honors and celebrates recent promotions

On Friday, April 8, 2022, the Reno Fire Department (RFD) will recognize 12 promotions within the department including their dedicated and beloved arson dog, Boston. Members of the media and the public are invited to attend the ceremony, scheduled for 3 p.m. at the City of Reno Council Chamber (1st Floor).
Promotions include:
- Jeff Voskamp - Division Chief
- Jeremy Kosak - Battalion Chief
- Roger Mooney - Battalion Chief
- John Arrowood - Captain (Suppression)
- Jordan Harris - Captain (Suppression)
- Darrell King - Captain (Suppression)
- Martin Mays - Captain (Suppression)
- Jesse Rowan - Captain (Suppression)
- Wayne Tellez - Captain (Suppression)
- Jeremy White - Captain (Suppression)
- Jeremy Beck - Captain (Prevention)
- Boston - Arson Dog
