Position Information
Mental Health Counselor I ($68,494.40 – $89,044.80): Under direct supervision, receives training and performs professional clinical duties in the areas of child protective services, adult services, senior services or juvenile services; and performs related work as required.
Mental Health Counselor II ($77,022.40 – $100,068.80): Under supervision, performs professional clinical duties in the areas of child protective services, adult services, juvenile services or senior services; and performs related work as required.
This is an Open Competitive / Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill current full-time vacancies in the Office of the County Manager-Homeless Services, Human Services Agency, and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur. Some positions may be grant-funded positions. That information will be provided at the interview.
Mental Health Counselor positions are eligible for a $2,500 Recruitment Incentive as well as a $500 Employee Referral Program
