SDS issued the following announcement on September 24.

Originally from Orange County, California, Mehri Dolati relocated to Las Vegas in 2020 where she works as a veterinary assistant. She has worked in veterinary medicine for the past eight years and aspires to become a leading veterinary pharmacist to help expand pharmacy services and patient counseling to a field of medicine where the profession is under-represented and under-utilized. Dolati is a graduate of Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa where she earned an Associate of Science in Chemistry and the University of California, Irvine where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science.

She is now earning her Doctor of Pharmacy at Roseman’s Henderson, Nevada campus and is a recipient of a Pharmacy Hero Scholarship supported by the Estate of Robert Stolman.

HERO Scholarship Overview

Roseman University and our generous donors wish to honor and award community heroes who dream of pursuing healthcare professions. Incoming students may receive a one-time $10,000 scholarship at the start of their program. In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants must have completed an application to their Pharmacy or Nursing program of choice and must have been offered admission to Roseman University. Applications are evaluated on four key criteria: academic promise, financial need, community volunteerism, and leadership skills.
