On Sunday, March 16, former Sierra Vista High School standout Yaya Kaaialii’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Western New Mexico Mustangs.

The game took place at Maner Park. This was their second matchup against the Mustangs this season.

The Lady Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at Mustangs Park against Midwestern State Mustangs.
