Dr. Edgeworth, a candidate for office in Nevada, has used social media to highlight recent community engagement activities and address local issues.
On May 8, Dr. Edgeworth invited the public to a community event, posting: “Anyone want yummy tacos? Come join me for a fun and FREE event on Saturday, May 16th from 10 AM ā 1 PM at Goett Park in Southern Highlands! Weāll have a taco truck, and a memorial fire truck from the @pffnevada
The following day, on May 9, Dr. Edgeworth shared impressions from a visit to a local healthcare facility: “Fantastic tour of the Adelson Clinic where I had the opportunity to see firsthand the life-changing work they do to help Nevadans struggling with substance use disorder rebuild their lives.” The Adelson Clinic is known for providing treatment services for individuals affected by substance use disorders.
On May 10, Dr. Edgeworth addressed concerns about antisemitism within the community: “We hear more and more about the rise of antisemitism across the country and even here in our own community. I was grateful for the opportunity to meet with the Louis D. Brandeis Center to discuss how we can protect Jewish students while also preserving free speech.” The Louis D. Brandeis Center is an organization focused on advancing civil rights of Jewish people and combating antisemitism.
These posts reflect ongoing efforts by Dr. Edgeworth to engage with local residents through events, support health initiatives addressing substance abuse in Nevada, and participate in discussions about safeguarding civil rights amid rising reports of antisemitism nationwide.
